Jeremiah married Elizabeth C Williamson on March 29, 1799 in Tennessee. They had 10 children: Joseph, William, Robert, Andrew, John, Nancy, Margaret, Catherine, Elizabeth, & Martha.
Jeremiah is buried at Adams-Nesbitt Cemetery in Dickson Co., Tennessee.
Jeremiah participated in the War of 1812. He enlisted as Private and was discharged as Private 1 Regiment Tennessee Militia.
Jeremiah's will states that he left 1/2 his land and property, including negro property, to his wife, and the other 1/2 divided among his children.
